Vendor Agreement
Easton Castle/O-TE-LA Castle Campground Forest
Vendors are welcome to sell on the castle grounds for 10% of sales or $10 whichever is less. If you make no sales there is no charge and if you make $100 or more the charge is $10. Donations are always welcome.
If you forget or do not have time to pay by the end of the day, please bring it by later to the North Door of the castle or make out and send checks to:

All sales are subject to city, state and tourism tax. State tax is 4.5%, city tax 2% and tourism tax 1.5% for a total of 8%. South Dakota requires the tourism tax because the castle is a historic landmark.
If you do not have a sales tax license you can apply online at https://dor.sd.gov or call the South Dakota Department of Revenue at 1-800-829-9188. It is fast, free and easy. They will send you all the information you need. Tax is normally due each month, but small vendors can ask for payment every six months.
