First Annual Meeting Notes

Approval of Agenda: Joe/Rob
Treasurer’s Report: Approved as read Mary Lou/Rob
Approval of By-Laws:
Amendment #1- Section 4.06- Replace the word “email” with “electronic communication services”. Strike last line of paragraph and replace with “The secretary shall record the response.” Approved unanimously Rob/Josh
Amendment #2- Section 6.02- Strike “…Board of Directors.” From the last line and replace with “by a special meeting of members.” Approved unanimously Rob/Joe
Amendment #3- Section 8.01- Strike the word “Director” from the last line of the paragraph and replace with the word “member”. Approved unanimously Rob/Joe
Amendment #4- Section 3- Add a paragraph 07 for inclusionary wording such as “Green Aberdeen does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our organization, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.” Approved unanimously. Rob/Kerry

Earth Day Fair will be on Sunday, April 22. It will be held in the Briscoe Bldg and Central Park (same as last year).
