Green Aberdeen Board Meeting Minutes

Treasurer Report: $1600.72
Attendance: Arlene, Rob, Enno, Kerry, Kim, Joe
Old Business: 501 c 3 is on hold with government shutdown.
Survey of Aberdeen- Enno talked to Lois about the survey, Lois Beckner may be able to help out or point us to someone who can.
Community involvement- Presentations at General Meetings? Are they pulling in any more people to the meetings?
Movie at the Capital or Red rooster- still working on this
Aberdeen Home Show is March 2 and 3rd
Go Fund Me is still running but will probably not grow much without the 501 c 3
Chautauqua went well, will do again this year.
Retrocade will be on Jan 26th from 6 to 9 pm. $5 for kids 5-12 , $10 for 13-adults, under 5 get in free. The Junction catered but the food wasn’t really eaten so we will forgo food for this one.
Motivating membership for the year. We will split up the membership log and call people to remind them of the meetings, etc. Livestream the speakers at the meeting to get interest up?
Annual meeting is on February 4th at the KO Lee Library. 6:00 will be the potluck. 7:00 meeting will begin. Should we have entertainment (movie, speaker, movie montage while we are eating)? We will be going over budget for 2019 and goals for the year.
Joe presented a detailed budget from 2018. Arlene presented motion to pass, Rob seconded.
Membership fees will stay the same from last year. $50 for full membership for the year. Possibility to work time for membership. Motion presented by Joe, seconded by Rob.
Goals for 2019-
3 goals for the year.
Earth day fair for 2019. It will be on Easter Monday this year or the weekend after. From 3-6? Last year it was for 4 hours… this may have been a little long? Have people sign up for committees.
Motion to remove Brandon Johnson from the Board. Rob motioned, Joe seconded.
Next board meeting will be January 21 @ 5:30 at Red Rooster.
